Hi, I’m Dakalo, a third-year MBChB student at the University of Pretoria with a deep passion for learning and teaching. I achieved strong academic results throughout high school, especially in Geography Grades 10-12, Mathematics from Grade 6 till Grade 10, Physical Sciences Grade 10-11, and Life Sciences Grade 10-12 — subjects I now tutor with enthusiasm and care. I’ve gained valuable tutoring experience helping students prepare for exams and build confidence in these core areas, both privately and through peer support at university.
My teaching style is calm, patient, and focused on understanding rather than memorization. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple, relatable explanations that help students feel in control of their learning. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy football, listening to music, and spending time with friends — it keeps me balanced and recharged. Something interesting about me? I’m training to become a doctor, but teaching has always been my second passion — I genuinely love seeing others succeed. Did I mention I’m a Liverpool fan so your child will never walk alone.
