I am a medical student at the University of Pretoria. I received the FLY@UP 1st Assist award for recognition of academic achievement excellence in my first year of university.
I completed my high school education in the Cambridge curriculum, where I obtained academic half-colours for achieving a minimum of 80% for isiZulu, Mathematics, English (Language and Literature), Biology and Physical Science in the IGCSE examinations as well as academic full colours for achieving a minimum of 75% for Mathematics, Language and Literature in English, Chemistry and Physics in the AS Level examinations.
As part of my school academic council, I have tutored both my peers and juniors in the IGCSE and AS Level curriculums. I use a fun, diverse and co-operative teaching style where we work on problems together, searching for answers using relatable cues, catchy rhymes and funny quotes to make lessons memorable.
When not tutoring I like binging series, coaching football and scrolling TikTok.
